Orangeville, ON -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/14/2018 -- Alfacon Solutions manufacturing facility allows shorter lead times with rapid on-time delivery, according to John Murdoch, CEO at Alfacon Solutions. Unlike some of the other conveyor companies exhibiting at MODEX 2018, Alfacon Solutions offers adaptable and flexible solutions; a long-standing reputation as the leading ETO (engineer-to-order) conveyor company addresses the unique challenges customers face, often left unresolved by other conveyor firms.
The new manufacturing facility, located just 30 minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport is a critical development; it will include a variety of enhancements to support Alfacon Solutions' continuing growth and expansion. Warehouse and manufacturing will be increased by more than 50 percent. Technology investments will include assembly process equipment and new engineering software to quicken the manufacturing process and increase production throughput. The expansion will also drive a 10 to 15 percent growth in Alfacon Solutions' workforce in the areas of manufacturing, sales, service and engineering.
Alfacon Solutions, the leaders in Engineered-to-Order and Custom Conveyor, Lift, and materials handling solutions, will be presenting an educational seminar at MODEX 2018 called Adaptive Conveying on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM in Theater I. The seminar will be presented by Alfacon Solutions' Ryan McMillan, Director of Engineering and John Murdoch, CEO.
The presentation will provide attendees an overview of a configurable conveying solution and how to integrate conveying solutions into automated vehicles. The presentation will have a focus on custom configurable conveying solutions as well as integration of conveying solutions into automated vehicles. The primary advantages and disadvantages of each type of solution will be discussed. Alfacon Solutions will exhibit at booth #B637.
