Ivyland, PA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/24/2018 -- Suburban Marble & Granite has enjoyed an industry-wide reputation as the providers of high-quality quartz countertops in Bucks County for over two and a half decades. Now, the company conveys their expertise and experience in the stone fabrication business through an extensive interview with Stone Update Magazine.
As a publication that reports on the North American stone industry, Stone Update Magazine covers topics such as quartz and natural stone surfaces, all written with the fabricator in mind. Suburban Marble & Granite's owner, Brian Rooney, discussed the company's past, present, and future with the magazine.
During the interview, Mr. Rooney talked about his time in the U.S. Marine Corps, and about how he had little exposure to the stone trade until his father-in-law and then-owner of Suburban Marble & Granite, John Menard, Sr., got him involved. "The fact that it involved manufacturing a product and giving people jobs in America, that really attracted me," said Mr. Rooney.
Since officially taking over ownership in 2016, Mr. Rooney has made several new improvements to the warehouse. He implemented a major redesign, moving equipment around the facility to speed and improve workflow. He also added several high-tech machines and intends to continue with the upgrades.
Mr. Rooney also discussed his use of marketing strategies, such as digital marketing and traditional advertising to assist him in growing his business, building his brand, and creating awareness for his product. "We've invested a lot of time, effort and money," he said of the campaigns.
In terms of his employes, Mr. Rooney said he enjoys the family aspect and environment of Suburban Marble & Granite. He enjoys offering them increased career opportunities as well as competitive salaries and other benefits.
Overall, Brian Rooney loves helping his customers. Providing excellent products and services for them are why he got into this business in the first place. "I get excited about the stone and excited watching people come in with their excitement of what they want to do in their homes," he said.
