YMC-Pack Diol 2 µm is ideal for quantitation of monoclonal antibodies (mAb), various proteins, and other biomolecules. The 2 µm base particle results in higher efficiency and faster separations compared to conventional Diol materials, while offering low nonspecific adsorption of proteins.
The brochure includes examples of separations of mAbs and other proteins. Test results examining lot-to-lot comparisons, as well as short-term and long-term reproducibility of the 2 µm SEC material are also shown.
The calibration curves for YMC-Pack Diol 2 µm prove to be identical to those of 3 µm and 5 µm columns. This simplifies transfer between larger scale HPLC separations and higher efficiency UHPLC methods.
YMC-Pack Diol 2 µm columns are available with pore size of either 200 ? or 300 ?. The 200 ? Diol-200 material is better suited for fragment analysis; while the 300 ? Diol-300 material is useful for resolution of higher-order aggregate species.
